I had a great time at this hotel. The location was perfect for exploring the Rocks neighborhood, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and Sydney Opera House. The hotel had plenty of character and space for what I needed but couldn't be locked. The service was reasonable but the lack of a lift was a shock as we are in our 80s. The location in the Rocks neighborhood was perfect to see all Sydney has to offer, although a bit far from Darling Harbor. The dining experience at the Australian where breakfast is served was good but may be a bit dismal in the shared bathroom. The facilities throughout the building were excellent but the whole experience was marred by the lack of a lift.
