Reviews and Ratings
I had a great time at this hotel. The location was perfect for exploring the Rocks neighborhood, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and Sydney Opera House. The rooms were a bit small for a double bed for two people, but we loved having access to the roof terrace every night. The service was exceptional, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The dining options were simple but convenient, and the hotel's facilities were top-notch.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The noise levels from the bar below were quite high into the night, but the apartment itself was great with a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms, and a rooftop terrace with stunning views. The service was fantastic, very accommodating, and friendly. The location was excellent, perfect for exploring the Rocks neighborhood, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay, and MCA. The dining options were good, especially the strong coffee. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few drawbacks.
The hotel had plenty of character and space for what I needed but couldn't be locked. The service was reasonable but the lack of a lift was a shock as we are in our 80s. The location in the Rocks neighborhood was perfect to see all Sydney has to offer, although a bit far from Darling Harbor. The dining experience at the Australian where breakfast is served was good but may be a bit dismal in the shared bathroom. The facilities throughout the building were excellent but the whole experience was marred by the lack of a lift.
Staying at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the Rocks, perfect for exploring iconic Sydney landmarks like the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The service from the staff was outstanding, with their friendly and knowledgeable assistance. On the downside, the rooms felt a bit outdated, and the safety concern of not being able to lock the main door compromised my sense of security.
Although the hotel has some drawbacks like feeling unsafe due to the main fire escape door not locking and noise from the bar below, the rooms do have a nostalgic feel akin to a 90s bedroom. The location is ideal for exploring the Rocks neighborhood and Sydney icons like the Opera House, despite being far from Darling Harbor.
I stayed at this hotel and it was like a dream come true. The rooms were amazing, with a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms, and even a rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of the harbour bridge and the opera house. I felt like I was living in a painting by Van Gogh. However, it was a bit concerning that the front entry door didn't have a lock for added security.
I absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The location was perfect for exploring the rocks neighborhood and iconic Sydney landmarks like the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Although the dining options were basic, the fresh products were a nice touch. The hotel had a lively pub downstairs, which added to the charm of the Australian Heritage surroundings.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location was unbeatable, allowing us to explore the Rocks neighborhood, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and Sydney Opera House easily. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our experience truly enjoyable. While the shared bathroom was a bit dismal, the overall experience was fantastic! The only downside was the lack of a lift, which was a surprise for us seniors in our 80s.
The hotel offers cozy rooms but lacks privacy with the design. The service is exceptional, friendly, and accommodating despite some shortcomings. The location is fantastic for exploring Sydney, although it could use internal upgrades. The dining experience is satisfactory with a decent breakfast. The facilities are adequate with room for improvement.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was ideal for exploring The Rocks neighborhood, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and Sydney Opera House. However, the rooms were in poor condition, feeling unsafe without locks, and not suitable for families. The service was top-notch, but the absence of essential facilities like a front entry door lock was concerning.
